Description of the register
The Associations Act (Section 11) obligates the board of the association to maintain a membership list, which must include the full name and place of residence of each member. The membership list is maintained in the association's membership register, where other personal data is also collected to facilitate internal communication and billing within the association. The data controller and individuals processing personal data have access to the registered information only for a specified period and for the purposes communicated to the registered individual.

DATA TO BE COLLECTED
The following personal data will be collected in the membership register:
- Name, date of birth, postal address, phone number, and email address
- For underage practitioners, name, date of birth, postal address, as well as the guardian's name, guardian's phone number, and guardian's email address.

Processing and Use of Personal Data
USE OF DATA
Those processing the membership register will use personal data solely as anonymized statistical data, for internal communication/information purposes within the association, in billing-related activities, or for correcting error situations.
DATA TRANSMISSION
If data usage is not based on any other legal basis, explicit consent will be asked from the data subject for the use of the information, according to the purpose of the service in question (for example, when the association makes registrations for camps or other events).

Commitment of Service Providers to Data Protection
Sami Poutiainen is responsible for the technical implementation of the membership register.
Processors of the membership register, such as responsible individuals of the association (everyone who has access to register data), are contracted to comply with the association's data protection principles.

Verification and Modification of Personal Data
Members have the right to verify and modify their information in the membership register. The data controller may modify information when correcting error situations.

Deletion of Personal Data
The registered individual can modify their own information and/or request the deletion of their data after their membership ends. Members who have not paid their membership fee for the relevant season will be removed from the membership register annually.
